The first place we landed was Juneau, the capital of Alaska. We arrived at 11AM and departed at 11PM. It was an extremely nice 80 degree day. There were hardly any clouds in the sky and you could see for miles. It was a perfect day to land in Juneau. We went on three excursions while we were here, which made for a very busy day. We visited Mendenhall Glacier, we went whale watching at Auke Bay, and we climbed Mount Roberts in a tram. An interesting fact about Juneau: There are only three ways you can enter Juneau...by air, by sea, or by birth. There are no roads to or from Juneau, so the cars, buses, and motorcycles in this city only drive the 20-ish miles of road in and around the city. But they do have their very on motorcycle gang...
