We went on one excursion in Victoria to the famous Butchart Gardens and to the unique Craigdarrock Castle. The fifty-five acre Butchart Gardens has been in existence for over 100 years and contains four distinctive gardens, the Sunken Garden, the Rose Garden, the Japanese Garden, and the Italian Garden. Each is exquisitely beautiful but very different from the other. This was one of the most memorable excursions we went on during our Alaskan adventure.
