On our first full day in France, we toured many famous landmarks in Paris, including Notre Dame. This beautiful Gothic cathedral is located on the Seine River. Over the nearly 200 year construction period, many architects worked on this building, so you can see many differing architectural styles on the western facade and towers. It was a rainy Sunday morning when we entered this church, but the rain stopped soon after we arrived.
